Leaves are long and oval with toothed edges. Upper surfaces of leaves are covered with prickly hairs. Flowers are similar to dandelions but in clusters on the ends of branches. Seedheads also resemble dandelions. Grows up to three feet tall. Native to Europe and North Africa.
